PUBLIC consultation is open on Casuarina Pool’s proposed $25m upgrade with plans to create a tropical flavour.

Darwin Lord Mayor Kon Vatskalis said the council wanted a pool that would appeal to families.

“We want the community to have their say prior to the design being finalised,” Mr Vatskalis said.

The consultation period ends on Friday, October 23.
