Aussie mum's iconic response to parking fail

“Oh to be a fly on the wall when they come back to their car!” said one person. But, not everyone was sold on the idea.

Maggots. In her car. And her reaction says it all

We’ve all seen some absolutely horrible attempts at parking, whether it’s at your local shopping centre, sporting event, or, perhaps the most annoying of them all, when you’re trying to get your child to an after school activity.

One Aussie mum took to combatting this in the pettiest way possible - however not everyone was happy with her choice.

“I squeezed my gigantic mum car in next to it!”

An Aussie mum has taken to Facebook to share her experience trying to park before dropping her little one off at gymnastics.

“This entitled ***** double parked in the packed carpark at gymnastics,” the woman wrote.

“Last spot available so I squeezed my gigantic mum car in next to it.”

The woman said it was quite the effort - but it was entirely worth it for the end result.

“Took awhile and had to fold my mirrors flat to get in there but I did it!” she added.

“Did you see them leave? Or their reaction?!”

Commenters on the post thought the act was hilarious, and would hopefully teach the driver a lesson.

“Good on you. Shame it wasn’t on the drivers side. There are poor parkers at our gym as well,” said one commenter.

“Haha I would’ve just parked in front of it,” another joked.

“Oh to be a fly on the wall when they come back to their car!” said a third.

“Epic! Did you see them leave? Or their reaction?!” another person asked.

“The line isn’t marked that well…”

But, not everyone agreed with this stance.

Some said that given how poor the markings were, it wasn’t worth the fuss.

“The white line has faded so it is really only one big parking space. I hope they hit your door while getting into their car,” one person said.

“The line isn't marked that well,” another agreed.

Others suggested she was just opening herself up to having her car damaged.

“It’s annoying, yes but now if they scratch your car who’s to blame,” said one person.

“Why wouldn’t you just park a little further over - partly on the grass? That would avoid any chance of your car getting damaged by the person that felt they needed the double spot!” another asked.

And some worried they may have taken up the extra space for accessibility reasons.

“Imagine if that person had a wheelchair bound passenger and did it because there wasn’t any disabled parks and they knew they needed space,” one commenter said.

“I hope they didn’t have a person with special needs with them that needed the extra space,” another agreed.
