ALDI’s new skincare range is an affordable dupe of high end brand

"I've gone twice already hoping they might put it out earlier!" one keen shopper admitted.

We wore ALDI's new streetwear range for a day

It has been hailed as their "most affordable and hydrating skincare range yet" and beauty bargain hunters are already planning their trips to ALDI to get their hands on the new line-up.

On Saturday May 4th, the German supermarket will be stocking their shelves with LACURA® Skin Science's new skincare offering, the HA5+ range.

Never heard of it? Neither have we...  until almost every aficionado started to express their excitement publicly about the new offering about to hit stores.

Another affordable dupe

So what makes the new HA5+ range so good?

Just like the CAVIAR skincare range, the HA5+ beauty products are gaining a cult following for being an affordable dupe of another high-end product.

Many beauty bargain hunters have been comparing the creams and serums to Lancome's Regenerie Skincare Range, whose eye cream alone retails at $136 (compared to ALDI's $14.99 15ml tub).

But let's get into why people claim the skincare range is so good - affordable dupe claims aside.

Introducing our new podcast: Mum Club! Listen and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts so you never miss an episode.

What's so good about ALDI's HA5+ skincare range?

The LACURA® HA5+ range boasts five different types of hyaluronic acid, the magic ingredient found in skincare that is known for locking in moisture and leaving the skin feeling super hydrated and looking glowy.

It also contains powerful ingredients such as Acacia that aims to plump and tighten the skin.

The range includes HA5+ Hyaluronic Eye Cream (15ml, $14.99), which targets those fine lines and reduces puffiness around the eyes, HA5+ Hyaluronic Serum (50ml, $19.99) which is said to give a "lifting effect" without leaving the skin feeling greasy, HA5+ Day Cream SPF 15 (50ml, $19.99), which will moisturise the skin and protect it from harmful UV rays, and HA5+ Night Cream (50ml, $19.99), which will lock in the moisture overnight.

Used together, the range will leave you with super-hydrated skin without breaking the bank.

“We are proud to consistently bring high performing, affordable skincare products to our customers making the latest trends in skincare accessible to Aussies at an amazing price point,” ALDI Australia’s Beauty Buying Director, Deborah Heng, celebrated.

"The range starting at just $14.99, includes four new products that contain an exclusive formulation that is composed of five different Hyaluronic Acids to help keep your skin incredibly hydrated for a healthy, moisturised feel.”

Beauty bargain hunters can't wait

But it's not the ALDI team who's excited about the range coming into store, beauty bargain hunters have also been counting down the days for the delivery.

Speaking to Kidspot, one mum claimed she had already visited her local store twice to see if the range had hit their special buys aisle yet.

"I sometimes get lucky and they put it out earlier, but this time they're holding onto the items until the official day. Damn!" she shared.

"I can't wait for this range to come out - it looks so hydrating and exactly what my skin needs. And their beauty products always seem to be a great dupe of other more expensive items so I'm confident it will be good," another added.

Along with the HA5+ range, the supermarket will also be stocked up on the new range of Caviar Collagen Pro skincare, which will also bring in lots of beauty fans. So be prepared for some elbows at the checkout - or even worse - a sold-out notice.
