After months of anticipation, eScooters become a reality for Darwin’s streetscape

DARWIN council will launch their much anticipated e-scooter trial on Tuesday, months after the trial was announced in April last year

DARWIN council will launch their much anticipated e-scooter trial on Tuesday, months after the trial was announced in April last year.

250 electric scooters set for 12-month trial on Darwin streets, footpaths

The trial, which was originally meant to get underway by August will see up to 250 scooters unrolled into the CBD over the coming months.

The eScooters will be available from 37 locations across Darwin and can be ridden on bikeways, shared paths and footpaths across the city.
