It’s no laughing matter.

“White Lotus” star Aimee Lou Wood has slammed Saturday Night Live for mocking her in a “mean” and “unfunny” skit.

On Saturday night, the sketch comedy show aired a pre-taped spoof of the HBO series, which starred Sarah Sherman as a parodied version of Wood’s character, Chelsea.

Though most of the skit poked fun at Donald Trump and his team, Sherman sported an exaggerated accent and enlarged false teeth for the spoof and said, “Fluoride? What’s that?”

The following morning, Wood, 31, took to her Instagram Stories to share her frustration with the way she was portrayed on SNL.

“I did find the SNL thing mean and unfunny xo. (Felt righteous, might delete later),” she wrote.

She added in another Story: “Such a shame cuz I had such a great time watching it a couple of weeks ago.

“Yes, take the piss for sure — that’s what the show is about- but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?”

The former Sex Education star also clarified rumours that someone at HBO, the home network of The White Lotus, called her “ugly.”

“Nobody at HBO called me ugly!!” she declared, adding that White Lotus creator Mike White fought for her to be on the show “in a nice way.”

“It was honestly from the nicest place, but my little head goes: ‘HBO didn’t want me. And I know why HBO didn’t want me, it’s because I’m ugly,’” she said.

“Mike had to say, ‘Please let me have the ugly girl!’

Wood later revealed that SNL has apologised to her for the sketch.

Page Six has reached out to a rep from SNL for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Earlier this month, Wood admitted that she’s tired of the conversation about her teeth.

“It’s, like, cool, and now I want to stop f**king talking about it,” she told the Sunday Times in an interview published April 5.

“Can I talk about my character? Why am I talking about my gnashers?” she continued. “It’s like now I’m just a pair of front teeth.”

The actress said she is still getting used to her looks being a constant topic of discussion.

“I understand what it represents. People feel more confident about their imperfections. It does feel a bit weird that the thing I got bullied for is now the thing that everyone’s, like, ‘Woo!’” she said of her teeth.

“It’s still the thing that’s defining me.”
