Selling Houses Australia returns for another massive season of the popular lifestyle program.

The country’s favourite property makeover show sees award-winning host and real estate guru Andrew Winter, interior design expert Wendy Moore and landscape designer Dennis Scott all back on-board for Season 17, which is set to air on March 5 on Foxtel and BINGE.

This season sees a new level of stress placed on the renovations amid the tough and unpredictable market conditions and the cost of living pressures, with the experts trying even harder than ever to sell the unsellable.

“Season 17 is a rollercoaster of emotions with families facing really challenging financial and emotional difficulties,” Scott said in a statement. “There are moments where we are a bit overcome by their stories which makes us as a team work harder to get the best result possible. We also manage to have a lot of fun with a few pranks guaranteed!”

Winter agrees, saying that while it was a challenge this time around, working with Moore and Scott was always a delight.

“Season 17, I cannot believe they are still letting me deliver my very personal style of real estate reality, then getting my two amazing colleagues to do all the hard work. Well, they are, and the home truths are still brutal and the makeovers as inspiring as ever. How many actually sell? Expect many surprises,” he said.

This season sees the trio tackle an array of properties, from an inner-city terrace to a overcrowded six-bedroom home in Sydney’s western suburbs as well as a heritage home in the historical town of Camden.

Challenges also await in Queensland where the team deal with a house that is just too big for buyers. And in the Melbourne suburbs, they face the mammoth tasks of turning two houses into one.

“This season had us tackling two more homes for an extra-long 12-episode season with more challenges but some really fabulous transformations,” Moore added.

Selling Houses Australia is nominated for an AACTA Award for Best Lifestyle Program, with the ceremony taking place on February 7.

All 16 seasons of Selling Houses Australia are available to watch On Demand on Foxtel, with the new season streaming on BINGE from Wednesday, March 5
