MAFS star Craig Michael Keller pleads not guilty to assault charges

A former Married At First Sight star will stand trial after pleading not guilty to a string of alleged assaults.

A former Married At First Sight star will stand trial after being charged with a host of assault offences across three months.

Craig Michael Keller pleaded not guilty to the charges in Brisbane District Court on Tuesday.

He was charged with unlawful assault causing bodily harm, two counts of unlawful assault causing bodily harm while armed with an offensive instrument and four counts of unlawful assault. He also faces a charge of unlawful choking without consent in a domestic relationship and a charge of wilful damage of a mobile phone.

The court was told the alleged offending occurred in Caboolture South between April to May 2022.

Mr Keller became a household name for a brief moment after appearing in season 3 of Married At First Sight in 2016.

The former reality TV personality was matched with his on-show bride Nicole Heir.

The couple did leave the show together but separated not long after the show aired.

Ms Heir is not involved in the allegations against Mr Keller.

The former navy engineer will stand trial on August 30.

He remains on bail.
