Love Island USA twist as two female contestants hook up

Two female contestants have kissed during a steamy on-camera moment, in a bombshell twist on a popular US reality dating series.

Two women have sparked up a romance in the Love Island USA villa, sharing a kiss on-camera and confessing their feelings.

Kassy Castillo and Johnnie Garcia’s friendship appears to have evolved since they met on the series, with the pair confessing their feelings for each other in a sweet clip shared on the show’s social media channels.

“I obviously find you attractive, I just didn’t know if you felt the attraction too … I just wanted to know if you were seeing that,” Kassy began.

“B**ch, I been seeing it! What do you mean?” Johnnie replied, laughing.

“We joke around and stuff, but I didn’t know if its really joking or not,” Kassy clarified, to which Johnnie confirmed: “I’m not joking.”

Love Island USA contestants Kassy and Johnnie have hooked up in a surprise twist.

“I kept looking at you, and I kept wanting to talk to you. So I was like ‘I’m low-key down for this,’” added Kassy, before Johnnie revealed more about her feelings.

“I like people that bring out a fun side in me, and I feel fun when I’m with you,” she said. “I feel comfortable when I’m with you. Those aren’t things you often find in people where you’re [on the island] – you get to be somebody else when you’re with them.”

Things turned even steamier when Kassy told Johnnie: “I think we’d be cute together, and I wouldn’t mind exploring more whenever”, with Johnnie cheekily asking: “How about now?”

The two then shared a kiss before both bursting into giggles.

The pair shared a steamy kiss.

With the next recouping ceremony approaching, it seems likely that the women will request to couple up – but in the meantime, Love Island fans are already head over heels for this surprise match.

It comes after Love Island USA host and former Modern Family star Sarah Hyland was branded “disrespectful” by a contestant in a tense moment.

In the most recent episode, Keenan Anunay was voted off the show, with his partner Vickala “Kay Kay” Gray choosing to eliminate herself to follow him.

Hyland then double-checked that she was sure of her decision.

“Before you go anywhere, I just want to make sure that you’re absolutely happy with your decision,” she said, to which Gray replied: “No regrets.”

While Gray seemed unbothered, contestant Mike Stark seemed to take issue with the host’s comment.

“Why are you saying it like that?” he asked Hyland. “It sounded mad disrespectful.”

A stunned Hyland asked: “I’m being disrespectful?” prompting Stark to double down.

“However, his fellow contestant Leonardo Dionicio quickly apologised on his behalf, whispering in her ear: “Sarah, I apologise for his reaction – I think it’s just the heat of the moment.

“Thank you,” Hyland told him. “Boys will be boys.”
