Sunshine Coast ironman Jett Kenny has caused major confusion with a bizarre post sparking rumours he and influencer girlfriend Lily Brown were expecting a child together.

An animated video shared online has caused a media stir for Sunshine Coast Ironman Jett Kenny and influencer girlfriend Lily Brown.
The prominent surf lifesaver, Jett Kenny, 29, businesswoman and influencer girlfriend Lilly Brown, 26, have become the target off a online rumour mill, with an article by the Daily Mail Australia claiming they are “pregnant.”
The pair celebrated their one-year anniversary in December.
Brown, a podcast host and founder of sleepwear label Chille, was helping Kenny, her friend of a few years, gently let down a persistent Tinder match in late 2022. The conversation quickly led to a date, which turned into many.
Mr Kenny took to social media early this morning to squash the rumours and alert his thousands of followers that his creative animation was not a pregnancy announcement for the pair.
“I didn’t think I’d have to come onto Instagram at 6 whatever time its is to address the fact that people think we are pregnant,” Mr Kenny wrote.
“From an eagle dropping an egg out of its bum, and a photo of lily emojis.”
In a recent “photo dump” share to on his personal social media account he published an animation video of a eagle flying, dropping an egg and then an egg hatching with an image of Ms Brown.
Commenters under the original post asking Mr Kenny to “explain” the video.
“Can you please explain the last slide. Your son has us all confused ha Is Lily pregnant?” another asked.
“I feel like everyone’s read way to much into this. or I’m totally blonde. How is the last slide a pregnancy announcement?” wrote another.
”OMG. Congratulations,”wrote another.
The comments being taken literally a media outlet, with Mr Kenny confirming “but were are not pregnant.”
Kenny pans the camera to Ms Brown standing metres away saying “We are not pregnant, for the f**king 15th hundredth time guys.”
Mr Kenny goes on to slam the media outlet who published the article with “zero research.”
“So anyway it was an article that was written, pretty funny, zero research was done and people who just thought we were pregnant,” Mr Kenny said.
“The video is in my last photo dump, I’ll put it in this story,”
