REVELLERS soaked up the sounds at the final major music festival in Darwin this year - literally.
The risk of rain didn’t stop the dancing at raindance, appropriately named given the weather conditions, with nothing stopping Territorians enjoying the live music and chance to relax.
Ashley Reece said nothing would stop her enjoying her first concert she’d been to since coronavirus restrictions lifted.
“It’s nice, great weather at the moment and everyone seems very happy.
“I’m a little bit nervous about the rain coming, but it is what it is.”
The festival was sold out earlier this week, meaning total attendance numbers of five events at the Darwin Ski Club this year could push to more than 10,000.

The series of concerts has helped build Darwin’s status as the come back capital, with a number of events already in the works for 2021.
