In an unlikely twist, Prince Harry has sent a luxury beauty brand trending on Twitter after revealing he used one of its products to ease the pain of his frostbitten “todger”.
The Duke, 38, writes in his memoir Spare that the smell of the product by US brand Elizabeth Arden made him feel as though his late mother, Princess Diana, was “right there in the room” as he applied it “down there”.
Although the Duke didn’t name the Elizabeth Arden product, readers have speculated that it was the brand’s cult classic Eight Hour cream.

Explaining that a friend had recommended the home remedy for frostbite after an uncomfortable return from the North Pole, Harry recalled of telling them: “My mum used that on her lips. You want me to put that on my todger?”
After the friend’s reassurance, Harry found himself a tube, writing that the smell of it transported him back to his childhood.
“I felt as if my mother was right there in the room. Then I took a smidge and applied it … down there,” he wrote.
A viral audiobook recording of the excerpt read by Harry has sent readers wild on Twitter, prompting shocked reactions, calls for Harry to be the new face of Elizabeth Arden, and sympathy for the brand’s PR team.

In Spare, Harry revealed he was nursing a frostbitten penis during Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton.
Recalling the night before the nuptials, Harry writes: “I regaled the company with tales of the [North] Pole. Pa was very interested and sympathetic about the discomfort of my frostnipped ears and cheeks, and it was an effort not to overshare and tell him also about my equally tender penis.
“Upon arriving home I’d been horrified to discover that my nether regions were frostnipped as well, and while the ears and cheeks were already healing, the todger wasn’t.”
Apart from Harry’s candid penis story, the memoir, released on Tuesday, has aired a number of bombshell allegations against the royal family, particularly his brother and sister-in-law, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Harry used his book to claim William branded his wife Meghan Markle “rude” and “difficult” during a row that turned physical.
He alleges William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and … knocked me to the floor”.
The Duke of Sussex also insists in his memoir that Kate was responsible for the argument between her and Meghan over bridesmaids’ dressed ahead of the Sussexes’ wedding, publishing a tense text message exchange between the two women.
In their first public appearance since the book’s release, Prince William and Princess Kate ignored questions about the allegations, smiling and waving to onlookers as they left Windsor Castle.
