Pink was enjoying one of Gold Coast’s most popular beaches when she stumbled across an unwanted visitor.

Pink had an unfortunate encounter with one of Australia’s many nasty creatures while enjoying a beach on the Gold Coast on Wednesday.

High numbers of bluebottles have been spotted across the sand on several popular swimming spots across Australia in recent months.

Unfortunately for Pink, the superstar had a run-in with one of the creatures after she ventured out of The Langham Hotel with her family, husband Carey Hart and children Willow and Jameson, to enjoy the popular city beach.

Appearing to almost step on a bluebottle, Pink grabbed her phone and knelt down to take a closer look before calling her family over.

Bluebottle stings can cause intense pain, whip-like lines and sores in the areas of skin that have been in contact with its tentacles. The pain usually decreases or stops after a couple of hours but joint aches may persist.

Pink’s beach antics come just days after the singer was reportedly turned away from Manly Skiff Club on Monday evening with a party of around eight people.

Manly Market Manager Mark Eymes was one of several people who said they witnessed the awkward encounter while waiting in line at the harbourside venue.

“I overheard her saying that she had a booking, but when they asked her to provide her ID, she said she didn’t have any on her,” he told The Manly Observer.

“They said she couldn’t come in without it, even though she explained that she’d already secured her booking with a deposit.”

Mr Eymes told the publication he tried to help Pink, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, by informing several Skiff Club directors and the floor manager that the star was at the entrance and about to be turned away.

“Next thing, I saw Pink and her group walking away. They just turfed her out,” Mr Eymes said.

Pink has long gushed over her connection with Australia, where she’s enjoyed phenomenal success over the years.

For this tour, she’s brought along the whole family and they have been spotted soaking up some of Sydney’s most popular tourist attractions during their downtime, including Bondi Beach and the Opera House.
