Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s daughter’s accent starts a debate

Sunday Rose the daughter of Keith and Nicole has made her runway debut but everyone’s distracted by something else.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s 16-year-old daughter, Sunday Rose, made her runway debut, but no one can get over her accent.

The celebrity offspring made her Fashion Week debut for Miu Miu’s 2025 spring collection and looked gorgeous.

The 16-year-old has inherited her mum’s height and her dad’s hair. Interestingly, people are more interested in her accent than her strut.

Vogue posted a behind-the-scenes video of Sunday Rose and declared her officially a “fashion it-girl”.

Sunday Rose revealed her last name is Kidman-Urban and then explained that it was her first-ever fashion show.

“I’ve been wanting to do this for so long, so when the offer came through, it was really exciting,” she said.

Nicole Kidman was also in Paris supporting her offspring, and Sunday Rose shared they’d also had some fun together.

“We did some shopping because how could you come to Paris and not shop?” She asked.

It is a super-sweet clip of a very excited teenager who is already getting to live out one of her dreams, but people are distracted by the accent.

Nicole and Keith split their time between the United States and Australia, they have homes in Nashville and Sydney and the family is often seen trotting through Sydney airport together.

The fact that Sunday Rose grew up living in two places at once means that her accent confuses people.

Some people were convinced she sounded like a southern belle, and others were convinced she sounded like a straight-up Aussie.

“Love her accent. Australian meets Appalachian,” one wrote.

“I was trying to figure it out, and you’re right! She’s adorable,” another remarked.

“I don’t even hear a hint of Oz. She grew up in Nashville,” someone else wrote.

“You must not know what an Australian accent is. She definitely had an Australian accent in there,” another argued.

“I don’t hear even a hint of Oz. She grew up in Nashville,” another hit back.

Someone else declared she sounded “southern” and another claimed the 16-year-old spoke like an Aussie.

Sunday Rose’s sudden introduction to the spotlight has been a surprise. Nicole and Keith have always remained very private about both their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith, 13.

In recent months, both girls have been in the spotlight. In July, Sunday Rose stepped out with her mum for Omega’s Her Time event in Paris. In the same month, the pair were seen at the Paris Olympic skate event together.

Sunday Rose was also with her mum in June at Paris Fashion Week’s Balenciaga Haute Couture winter show.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight last month, Kidman revealed that her daughters love to raid her closet and steal her clothing.

“They go into my closet and it looks like a bomb’s hit it,” she told the outlet.

“They go crazy in there. And then they just take a T-shirt! But they wreak havoc.”
