A piece of confetti at a concert may not be a high value item for most, but for diehard Taylor Swift fans it’s a priceless piece of memorabilia.
And Swifties are proving they’ll go to any length to get their hands on the keepsake.
Taylor fanatics who were unable to purchase a ticket and those who were stuck in the stands for the international superstar’s sell out shows in Melbourne and Sydney have taken to social media in hopes fellow fans might be able to help them secure a handful of confetti.
Some are even willing to pay postage to land a piece of the hot commodity.
“I’m hoping that someone would be happy to grab me some confetti as I was in the stands. I would love to make a memory box,” one mega fan posted on Facebook.
“I would love to get the confetti at the end during Karma and the All Too Well leaves but I’d be happy with anything.”
“I can give you $$ for the stamp and envelope to post it to me.”
Another Swiftie pleaded with ground floor ticket holders to help her score her “favourite thing to collect”.
“I love collecting confetti but unfortunately I’m in the stands this time,” she said in a post to Facebook.
“I’m hoping someone would be happy to grab me some, the more the better, it’s my favourite thing to collect.
Some ticketless Tay Tay fans are even willing to meet up outside Sydney’s Accor Stadium to ensure they too get a taste of the Taylor fanfare.
“Would you be willing to get me a bunch of confetti off the floor and meet up with me afterwards to give it to me?” she wrote in a social media post.
“I have an insane love for confetti and my fiance always makes a joke that it is my favourite part of concerts … I can’t say he’s wrong.”
