Why Arnold Schwarzenegger refuses to appear in the new Predator film

WITH a fourth Predator movie in the works, fans have been wondering if Arnold Schwarzenegger will make an appearance. He won’t be. Here’s why.

WITH a fourth Predator movie in the works, fans of the franchise have been wondering if Arnold Schwarzenegger will be reprising his character, Major Alan “Dutch” Schaefer.

The answer is no.

“They asked me, and I read it, and I didn’t like it,” Schwarzenegger told Yahoo Movies.

“So I’m not going to do that, no. Except if there’s a chance that they rewrite it, or make it a more significant role. But the way it is now, no, I won’t do that.”

Schwarzenegger, now 69 years old, starred in the original Predator movie back in 1987 but wasn’t seen in 1990s Predator 2 or 2010s Predators.

• The movie will star Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse), Boyd Holbrook (Narcos) and Jacob Tremblay (Room).

• Expect plenty of violence as the movie will be MA-rated.

• The movie will be set in present day.
