Star Wars: Episode IX is coming to theatres sooner than expected
DISNEY and Lucasfilm have announced a string of high profile movie release dates including Episode IX, which will hit cinemas sooner than expected.

STAR Wars fans will be thrilled to hear Episode IX is coming to cinemas sooner than expected.
Disney and Lucasfilm have booked a date in theatres for the film for May 24, 2019, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The studio has also announced a string of other high-profile movie release dates.
Disney will push the next Indiana Jones movie back a year from July 19, 2019 to July 20, 2020, to make room for the studio’s live-action The Lion King, set to be released on the original July 19 date.
Frozen 2 is expected to hit theatres on November 27, 2019.
The storyline of Episode IX, which is the sequel to the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi, is still largely unknown. It will be directed by Jurrasic World’s Colin Trevorrow.
Earlier this month, Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy said Carrie Fisher, who passed away in December last year, would not appear in IX as Leia.

The next instalment in the epic saga — The Last Jedi — is set to hit theatres this year on December 15.
The film follows on from Star Wars: The Force Awakens starring Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and the late Carrie Fisher.
