JUST call him a head case.
Shia LaBeouf suffered injuries to his head and a hand during a stunt on the set of his new movie in North Dakota, his rep confirmed.
He “sustained minimal injuries [Tuesday] night on the set of his current film American Honey,” his rep told Page Six.
“As protocol, production sought out medical attention and Shia received stitches on his hand and for a laceration on his head.”
According to TMZ, which first reported the injury, LaBeouf, 29, received 20 stitches and 13 staples to his head and finger after filming a scene that required the actor to put his head through a glass window.
Sources told the site that something with the stunt went wrong, sending him off to a nearby hospital. After getting bandaged up, LaBeouf was sent home and is slated to film again on Thursday.
Back in 2008, LaBeouf was injured by a prop on the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, suffering a cut below his eyebrow. He was stitched up on set and immediately went back to work. In 2014, while on the set of his movie Fury, co-star Logan Lerman told British GQ that LaBeouf cut up his own face with a knife so that his battle wounds looked real.
