EMMA Watson stars as Belle in the upcoming live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast, and she’s channelled the iconic Disney princess in real life.

The 26-year-old stepped out in New York City this week to attend a NY Film Society for Kids event, and arrived looking just like the character she plays.

Wearing a sleeveless canary yellow dress on the evening, Watson’s look was almost a replica of Belle’s iconic ball gown from the movie.

Talking to The Telegraph about her character’s famous gown in the film, Watson gave some insight into how it was reimagined from the original animation saying, “We wanted the dress to feel like it could float”.
