Deadline reports Brad Pitt was initially in talks to star in upcoming thriller The Gray Man, about a CIA op-turned-assassin who has to escape trouble to save the lives of children he didn’t know he had.
But studio bosses were reportedly so impressed with Theron’s performance in Mad Max: Fury Road that they reworked the story and switched the gender so she can take on the role.
It’s reported the actress is now in talks to take on the project. The flick’s based on the book of the same name.
