It’s been twenty years since Bring It On graced our screens and we were introduced to the world of competitive cheerleading.
The film had all the ingredients of a perfect rom-com. Angsty teens, forbidden love, bitter rivalry and, of course, spirit fingers.
Going on to make $US90 million in worldwide box office, the cheerleading movie quickly became a cult classic and kicked Kirsten Dunst’s career into overdrive.
But what about the rest of the cast members? Here is what the cast is up to 20 years on.
KIRSTEN DUNST
Playing Torrance definitely wasn’t Kirsten’s first gig in Hollywood, but it launched her to a new level of fame and has remained one of her most loved roles.
Following the cheer movie, Kirsten, who had a high profile romance with Jake Gyllenhaal from 2002 to 2004, went on to star as Mary Jane in the Spider-Man film franchise from 2002 – 2007, alongside Toby Maguire.
Over the years she has turned her attention to the small screen, featuring in series including Fargo and Black Mirror and more recently, On Becoming a God in Central Florida.
Now 38, Kirsten had her first child, Ennis Howard Plemons, in 2018 with her fiance and Fargo co-star Jesse Plemons, whom she met in 2016.

ELIZA DUSHKU
Missy Pantone, Toros’ newest cheer member brought the perfect amount of attitude and sass to the team.
The actor who portrayed her, Eliza Dushku, had already had her big break on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which is why producers cast her for Bring it On.
After Bring it On, Dushku went on to star in the Buffy spin-off series, Angel.
She has appeared in various movie and TV projects over the years, including That ‘70s Show, The Big Bang Theory and Ugly Betty.
JESSE BRADFORD
Missy’s gorgeous, punk rocker younger brother who stole Torrance’s heart built a solid television career for himself with roles on The West Wing, Outlaw, and Guys with Kids.
GABRIELLE UNION
Captain of the Clovers cheerleading team, Isis led her team to victory at the championship.
Since then actor Gabrielle Union has become a household name, with a strong list of movies and television shows under her belt.
Starring in another cult classic 10 Things I Hate About You, Gabrielle was also in Deliver Us from Eva, and the series Being Mary Jane.

RICHARD HILLMAN
Aaron, Torrance’s not so faithful or supportive boyfriend, had a minor role in Legally Blonde a year later.
Tragically, Richard died at the age of 34 in 2009, with little known about the cause of death.
His last project appears to be in a 2002 film titled The Best Ever, but the part was uncredited.
CLARE KRAMER
Clare Kramer played Courtney, another member of the Toros cheer team.
She went on to have a recurring role as Glory in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, before taking her career behind the lens and focusing on writing and producing.
NATINA REED & BRANDI WILLIAMS (Blaque)
LaFred and Jenelope were played by the popular R&B music group Blaque.
The girls played Isis’ closest friends and back up girls.
Blaque had two of their own songs featured on the Bring It On soundtrack: As If and Bring It All To Me with 50 Cent.
While the music group disbanded in 2004, they made a comeback in 2012, but tragically Natina Reed was fatally struck by a car on October 26, 2012.
NICOLE BILDERBACK
Whitney, Courtney’s best friend in the film, was best-known for trying to replace Missy with her unenthusiastic little sister.
Nicole had previously appeared in Clueless and Can’t Hardly Wait, before playing Pocahontas in the TV movie Snow. She also appeared on NBC’s Good Girls, and CBS’ NCIS: New Orleans.
NATHAN WEST
The sexy male cheerleader Jan used his position on the Toros squad to meet more girls than those on the school football team.
After the film, Nathan starred on Grey’s Anatomy, and Bones.
The actor has three children with Grey’s Anatomy and Supergirl actress Chyler Leigh.
LINDSAY SLOANE
The terrifying Big Red was the catalyst of the team’s initial downfall, after stealing choreography from the Clover’s.
Lindsay has maintained steady acting work over the years, appearing in the Horrible Bosses movies, as well as appearing on CBS’ The Odd Couple, and USA’s Playing House.
