THE Northern Territory’s amazing culinary delights are set to take centre stage following confirmation two Masterchef episodes featuring the Red Centre will go to air later this year.
Masterchef, which is one of the highest rating shows in Australia, kicked off this week and promises to showcase sensational cooking experiences in the Northern Territory, including at Bruce Munro’s Field of Light. Production is currently underway for episodes featuring Territory icons in Uluru and Simpson’s Gap with 60 cast and crew based in the Red Centre.
High profile judges Jock Zonfrillo, Melissa Leong and Andy Allen will touch down in the Red Centre as this year’s contestants put their incredible cooking skills to the test.
Masterchef contestants will be further tested with a quintessentially Territorian bush food cooking experience featuring Raylene Brown from Kungkas Can Cook.

Tourism NT will launch trade and digital media campaigns with holiday deals to coincide with these episodes going to air.
