CALL him Lord of the Riffs.

Christopher Lee, aka Lord Saruman from Lord of the Rings, has released a not-so-jolly Christmas single called “Darkest Carols, Faithful Sing”.

The 92-year-old’s track puts a heavy metal twist on “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.”

Last Christmas, his song “Jingle Hell” reached No. 18 on the Billboard countdown, making him the oldest performer to have ever made the charts, according to Blabbermouth.

“At my age, the most important thing for me is to keep active by doing things that I truly enjoy. I do not know how long I am going to be around, so every day is a celebration and I want to share it with my fans,” the Dracula actor said.

It’s the third year The Hobbit star has released Christmas material following “The Little Drummer Boy”, “Silent Night” and “Jingle Bells”.
