Sophia Grace Brownlee is hitting back at haters over her pregnancy at age 19.
The mum-to-be, who rose to fame on The Ellen DeGeneres Show when she was eight, acknowledged in a new interview that while “19 is quite young, obviously, to have a baby,” she feels “ready” and “happy” about her pregnancy, Page Six reports.
“Usually most people are like, ‘You should have babies when you’re 30 and you’re married and you live in your own house,’ which is completely fine,” she told E! News this week. “Obviously everyone’s gonna have their different opinions.”

Ms Brownlee, who went viral in 2011 for a cover of Nicki Minaj’s Super Bass that she and her cousin Rosie McClelland performed, added that her expanding family is “no one else’s problem”.
That being said, she noted that she’s also received “so many supportive comments” from people who’ve had babies at her age.
“It really makes me feel happy when I see other girls comment that,” she said. “It really, really makes me so much more confident.”
As for her partner, Ms Brownlee explained her decision to keep his identity under wraps.
“Because I have always been in the spotlight, I feel like I want something just to keep to myself,” she said.
“I would be completely happy to share him and I would be completely happy for him to be in my videos, but I feel like when he’s confident enough to be in them, then maybe we could do that,” she said. “It’ll be really fun.”
The YouTube vlogger debuted her baby bump in a video posted on Sunday.
“I was very shocked when I first found out,” she told her subscribers, saying that she was 21 weeks along.
“I got used to it now, and I’m super, super happy about it,” she said. “I don’t want any negative comments. Negative comments will be getting deleted and blocked.”
As for Ms McClelland, the 16-year-old wrote via Instagram that she is “so excited” for her cousin and Tea Time With Sophia Grace & Rosie co-star.
“Together forever, words can’t explain this feeling,” she said. “Here for you, will buy milk, babysit but I don’t think I can change a nappy just yet. Love you so much.”
