Ed Sheeran has been spotted working a very normal job

One of the most famous stars in the world has left fans shocked after he was spotted donning an apron for a shift at a Lego store.

A-list musician Ed Sheeran has been spotted working a humble retail gig at a Lego store in America.

Sheeran shared on Instagram that he spent a day working as a “brick specialist” at the local Lego store in Minneapolis’ iconic Mall of America.

One customer was left visibly stunned when she approached the counter to see Sheeran at the check-out.

“Are you kidding me?,” she yelped.

Sheeran drew a huge crowd as he tended to customers alongside other staff in a bright blue T-shirt and yellow apron.

The musician then surprised shoppers with a rendition of his smash hit Lego house.

He called the experience “super fun,” and declared he’d be handing out mini Legos at his next show.

 

Sheeran is currently on tour in America to celebrate the success of his latest album and is clearly making a special effort to make it memorable.

Fans were quick to celebrate the move.

“The most wholesome content that I didn’t know I needed,” someone commented.

“Man of the people,” another complimented.

“Wow nice job,” someone else declared.

Sheeran is one of the most famous musicians in the world but is notoriously private about his personal life.

He is married to his childhood friend Cherry Seaborn and the couple share two daughters together.

He shocked fans in March when he announced the release of his latest album Subtract, sharing that the album had been born from plenty of personal trauma.

“Within the space of a month, my pregnant wife got told she had a tumour, with no route to treatment until after the birth.,” he candidly wrote.

“My best friend Jamal, a brother to me, died suddenly and I found myself standing in court defending my integrity and career as a songwriter. I was spiralling through fear, depression and anxiety.”

He added that “writing songs is my therapy” and that the album was a huge insight into who he was.

“An opening trapdoor into my soul.”
