King Stingray, Jess Ribeiro and Andrew Gurruwiwi are just some of the big name performers that will be headlining a massive music festival in Nhulunbuy this weekend, with the Top End town bracing for back-to-back parties.
On Saturday, East Arnhem Live 2024 will kick off its main event, with legendary Yirrkala band King Stingray leading a host of local and interstate artists alike at Hindle Oval.
Playing until midnight, the band will be joined by Melbourne’s Jess Ribeiro, Andrew Gurruwiwi, Cedrik Marika, local Mister Chrisy Mertas and more.
The quiet town has been afforded a quick turnaround to prepare themselves for the following day’s closing party, with The HOG Shed expected to be packed with party goers keen to take advantage of the free event.
With a host of music festivals across the nation shutting down, such as Bluesfest, Splendor in the Grass and Groovin the Moo, the Top End has been blessed to retain its iconic East Arnhem Live event.
