Charli XCX just made Brat girl summer official by tying the knot.
The pop superstar married The 1975 drummer George Daniel in a chic, low key ceremony at Hackney Town Hall in London on Saturday.
The Party 4 U singer, 32, whose real name is Charlotte Aitchison, wed Daniel, 35, in front of
the couple’s nearest and dearest including The 1975 bandmates Adam Hann and Ross MacDonald, however frontman Matty Healy was noticeably absent.
Charli rocked a white Vivienne Westwood mini dress with off the shoulder sleeves and a corsetted bodice, paired with a sheer veil, and her signature black sunglasses.
Daniel wore a tailored suit and boutonniere, keeping things sharp but simple.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds were snapped kissing on the steps of the registry office. Charli later confirmed on TikTok that George teared up seeing her in the dress.
The couple were first linked in 2019, and reportedly started dating two years later.
Charli quietly shared the news of her engagement to Daniel in November 2023, first posting a look at her ring on her private Instagram and later revealing their new relationship status in a post on her public Instagram.
They have since collaborated on multiple projects, most recently Charli’s Brat album, which dropped in June.
On a recent podcast, the singer said working with her now husband added a new dynamic.
“We’ve done a couple of things together … it’s like a whole new dynamic. But it’s cool. There will be a couple of songs that he’s worked on with me.”
The wedding comes just months after she brought chaos to Australia with her Laneway Festival run, which pulled in over 200,000 fans, the biggest turnout in the event’s history.
