HE’S schmoozed the biggest names in Hollywood — and now TV host Andy Cohen is lifting the lid on what they’re really like.
The Watch What Happens Live host has dished on Katy Perry and Taylor Swift’s bad blood, John Mayer narrowly avoiding Jennifer Aniston, and turning down two Oprah Winfrey invitations in his new book, Superficial: More Adventures from the Andy Cohen Diaries.
“People are going to be pissed, because I’m really revealing a lot,” Cohen told Entertainment Tonight ahead of the book’s release tomorrow. “I’m moving the goalpost, and I just feel like if I’m going to do it again, it has to be bigger and better and dishier.”

Here are some of the biggest bombshells:
TAYLOR SWIFT
Cohen recalled putting his foot in his mouth big time after running into Taylor Swift at the Met Ball. He said the Shake It Off singer was searching for a spot to watch Lady Gaga’s performance when Cohen noticed an open area by Katy Perry.
“Why I felt I needed to get involved I will never know (maybe I was auditioning for her squad?) but I innocently said exactly the wrong thing to her, which was, ‘Your friend Katy is sitting in the corner and there’s plenty of room around her’,” he recalled. Cohen said Swift then asked, “Katy who?” He wrote: “I said, ‘Perry,’ at which point she clearly let me know that she’s the exact opposite of her friend.”
JOHN MAYER AND JENNIFER ANISTON
Cohen claimed he nearly witnessed a reunion between former couple John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston. He said he was having a drink with Mayer at a Friends reunion last February when they noticed the cast of the hit TV show sitting at a nearby table. “We realised they had to walk by our table to leave and that would be a ‘moment’,” Cohen recounted. He decided to greet the cast, but Mayer did not join him. “As much as I would’ve loved to see the ultimate reunion — Aniston and Mayer — we left before they did and went to bed. Separately.”
OPRAH WINFREY
Cohen said he was asked to appear on OWN’s Oprah: Where Are They Now? last year but “passed” because he felt “people should pretty much know where I am now.” He turned down the talk show queen a second time when her bestie Gayle King asked if he and Anderson Cooper wanted to have brunch with them in California. He declined because of a filming commitment, but admitted he experienced major “FOMOBO, which is Fear of Missing Out on Brunch at Oprah’s.”
MADONNA
The self-proclaimed hardcore Madonna fan revealed the pop star has a distinct smell. “Are there Madonna-approved scents, and then does she have someone in there spraying her scent before she gets there?” he pondered in his book. He also said country legend Dolly Parton smells like “a combination of dairy and perfume.”
TORI SPELLING
The opinionated TV host said he found himself in a “complete pickle” making fun of Tori Spelling on his show for giving herself third-degree burns. He said she emailed him about his dig, saying she would “never be able to use her arm again.” Cohen said he apologised “profusely” but still feels bad about it.
CHER
Cohen revealed he nearly convinced music legend Cher to do a radio show with him from her home. “I told her, you can do it from your house and not have to worry about makeup or anything,” he recalled.
