King Charles ‘sad and bewildered’ by Prince Harry

The LA-based royal’s relentless attacks on the Firm and family are said to have left his father increasingly frustrated.

King Charles is said to be “sad” and “bewildered” at Prince Harry’s behaviour.

The Duke of Sussex, 38, has consistently hit out at the Firm since moving to Los Angeles.

In his memoir Spare, he even called his mother-in-law Camilla a “bully” and revealed he begged his father not to marry her.

A royal insider says the King, 74, is tired of his youngest son’s behaviour.

“The King brings Harry up every time I see him,” the insider said, according to The Times.

“I don’t think we’ve moved past sad and bewildered, but there’s a bit more frustration at his behaviour, because it just keeps going.”

It comes after Harry took the witness box at London’s High Court last week to testify against the Mirror group in a phone hacking case.
The King escaped the furore by escaping to Romania for a holiday for five days.
During the trial, Harry said he launched his claim to stop the “abuse and intrusion” aimed at him and his wife Meghan Markle.

Harry claimed that his phone was habitually hacked over the course of 15 years and there was an “an industrial scale” destruction of evidence.
When asked by his lawyer David Sherbourne KC how he found being questioned before the media and public about his private life, the Duke became emotional.
Appearing flustered and fiddling with his suit, Harry said: “It’s a lot.”

WILLIAM FOLLOWS IN MUM DI’S FOOTSTEPS

Prince William channelled his mother as he backed a cause close to Princess Diana’s heart.

The Prince of Wales, 40, opened a cancer centre at the Royal Marsden’s Sutton hospital in Surrey last week – the same hospital where his mother opened a children’s cancer unit in 1993.

During his visit to the Oak Cancer Centre, William met with cancer researchers and patients.

One patient cheekily told William, “You’re a tall bugger aren’t you”.

The royal responded with a joke: “I’m wearing heels”.

In a message shared to the Prince and Princess of Wales social media pages, his office wrote: “After many years of hard work by @royalmarsdenNHS and @royalmarsden, it was brilliant to see the Oak Cancer Centre open its doors today. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in making this incredible Centre a reality. The new state of the art research and treatment facility will bring patients and researchers together under one roof to deliver the best possible care and outcomes for cancer patients not just at The Royal Marsden but around the world.”

It’s been almost three years since William laid the foundation stone for the Oak Cancer Centre, part of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust that specialises in cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and education in two central London venues and in the Sutton centre William visited.

In a speech, the royal said he was “delighted” to be there “to celebrate the opening of a remarkable treatment and research facility, that will transform the lives of cancer patients.”

“The Oak Cancer Centre is a major milestone in both The Royal Marsden’s history and the future of early diagnosis,” William said.

“I was delighted to launch the appeal for this facility eight years ago and lay the foundation stone in 2020, so I am incredibly proud to be standing here with you all today in this beautiful building.”

He said the centre would deliver “truly integrated ‘bench to bedside’ studies that will speed up the development and translation of new personalised treatments — not just for Royal Marsden patients here, but for cancer patients worldwide.”
