Twilight star Ashley Greene gets engaged before coming to Australia for New Year’s Eve

TWILIGHT star Ashley Greene will ring in the new year in Sydney tonight, after she got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Australian TV presenter Paul Khoury.

TWILIGHT star Ashley Greene has a pretty big reason to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Australia tonight, after she got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Australian TV presenter Paul Khoury.

Greene, who will ring in the new year at Sydney’s famous Marquee nightclub, accepted Khoury’s surprise proposal after he got down on one knee and popped the question in New Zealand earlier this month.

Greene just shared a video of the moment on her Instagram account with fans.

The loved-up pair went on a hike down to the bottom of New Zealand’s Bridal Veil Falls where he asked her to marry him.

The couple can be seen on the video kissing and hugging with joy after Greene said yes to Khoury.

On Instagram she wrote a caption that stated: “This is the most beautiful moment I could have ever hoped for. You’ve successfully made me the happiest, luckiest woman alive. I can’t wait to show you my unfaltering immeasurable love for the rest of our lives. #engaged #loveofmylife #futurehusband”

Earlier this week, Greene told The Daily Telegraph that it was too soon to reboot the Twilight franchise.
