Kate Beckinsale replies to silly comment in the best way possible

IF there’s one celebrity who constantly proves you can actually stay friends with an ex, it’s Kate Beckinsale.
Not only is she still best friends with her ex Michael Sheen, Beckinsale is just as good mates with Sheen’s new girlfriend and comedian Sarah Silverman.
The Underworld actress and Silverman hang out on a regular basis and were last seen dining at a Hollywood restaurant on Friday.
Beckinsale uploaded the snap of the star-studded dinner group captioning the photo “Feels upon feels upon feels.”
The photo featured Saturday Night Live alum Molly Shannon, actress JoAnna Garcia and ex-NSYNC member Lance Bass.
Also in the photo was Sarah Silverman, which seemed to confuse one of Beckinsale’s Instagram followers.
“That sarah is your daughter?,” the Instagram user wrote. “Pretty like you @katebeckinsale.”
Beckinsale and Sheen share an 18-year old daughter named Lily. Silverman is 46.
Instead of correcting the fan or losing it, the 43-year old actress responded in the best way possible.
“Granddaughter,” she replied. “We are very proud of her.”
Sheen and Beckinsale split in 2003 after a respectable eight years together and perhaps partially due to sharing a daughter, have stayed excellent friends.
Sheen, who is an actor and director, has been dating comedian Sarah Silverman since 2014.
Since they started dating, it’s not unusual for the three of them to hang out.
Beckinsale even spent Christmas at their home last year telling ES Magazine, “It’s so normal for us. We split up ages ago. We have been not together far longer than we were ever together. But I really love him and like him and we make each other roar with laughter.”
Their fascinating love triangle was most recently laid out on the red carpet for Beckinsale’s newest flick Love & Friendship where the three stars were photographed laughing and hugging.
