MORE details have been revealed about the hours before Jim Carrey’s tragic ex was found dead after writing a heart-wrenching suicide note, where she asked him to “please forgive me, I’m just not for this world”.
Cathriona White, 30, was found at her home in Los Angeles, USA, after having a three minute phonecall with the actor and ignoring a text from him asking if she knew where his missing prescription drugs were.
The Sun reports that she had taken a cocktail of prescription drugs just days after breaking up with the Hollywood actor in September 2015.
The LA Coroner’s report, obtained by the Daily Mail Online, detailed how White had told friends before she died the was “madly in love” with Carrey.
It also said she had tied her identity to his, and if she thought he was “slipping away” from her it would cause her to become depressed.
Friends said she had depressive qualities, although the report said she had no known mental health issues in the US.
They become worried when she “signed off” from Twitter with a cryptic final tweet, four days before her body was found.
The coroner’s report said she was found dead in bed wearing a red T-shirt and black underwear surrounded by prescription drug bottles, and she was clutching a mobile phone in her hand.
New documents have now emerged giving further details of the beautician’s final message to Carrey in a suicide note and a longer letter, which outlined her wishes.
Her final letter said: “I’ve spent three days now in disbelief that you’re not here.
“I can go on broken-hearted and try to put the pieces back — I could, I just don’t have the will this time.
“I’m sorry you felt I wasn’t there for you. I tried to give you my best part.”
She added: “Please forgive me. I’m just not for this world.”
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said White had committed suicide by overdosing on several different drugs.
The letter became more chilling as it went on, with the make-up artist going on to discuss funeral arrangements.
She wrote: “I don’t really know about burial or that sort of thing.
“You are my family so whatever you choose will be fine.”
She asked for her belongings to be sold and given to her family before signing off the note with “Dewdrop” — thought to be a nickname from Carrey.
Investigator Kelli Blanchard said in her report that there were no other injuries visible, but her body had early signs of decomposition which suggested she may have been dead for a number of days before she was found.
Court records revealed Carrey had previously texted her to say some painkillers had gone missing from the bathroom and asking if she knew where they were.
The devastated star issued a statement shortly after her death, describing his shock.
He said: “I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona.
“She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled.
“My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her.
“We have all been hit with a lightning bolt.”
The tearful actor was later pictured helping to carry her coffin at her funeral in Cappawhite, Co Tipperary.
It has been reported that Cathriona — originally from Ireland — had previously tried to kill herself and was prone to becoming “depressive”.
