Hollywood actors Kate Mara and Jamie Bell get engaged

AFTER reports Rooney Mara is dating Joaquin Phoenix, actor sis Kate has one-upped her by getting engaged to Jamie Bell.

ROONEY isn’t the only Mara sister with relationship news.

Kate Mara and Brit actor Jamie Bell are engaged, her rep confirmed to New York Post .

Last Sunday, Kate, who shot to fame in House of Cards, posted a photo of herself on Twitter wearing what looked like her engagement ring.

“#NYGiants #Steelers,” she captioned the pic. The 33-year-old is the great-granddaughter of the founders of both the New York Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Mara and Bell, best known for his lead role in Billy Elliot, first met on the set of Fantastic Four in 2014 and rumours of them as a couple began when they were spotted at the 2015 Met Gala.

Bell, 30, was previously married to Westworld actor Evan Rachel Wood. They have a toddler son together.

Meanwhile, Kate’s sister Rooney and actor Joaquin Phoenix have been holed up in the desert together. As New York Post reported last week, the pair “found love” on the set of their biblical film “Mary Magdalene.”
