Kanye West said he never wanted to have kids with ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
The rapper, 47, recently did an interview with DJ Akademiks while dressed in a black Ku Klux Klan outfit and spoke about his former marriage to the 44-year-old reality star.
“When you speak about Kim, people might be like, ‘Well, you picked her. You put yourself in that,’” Akademiks, 33, said to West.
“Absolutely, I did,” West said. “That was my fault. No, that was my fault.”
“I didn’t want to have children with this person after the first two months of being with them, but that wasn’t God’s plan,” he added.
The Post has reached out to Kardashian’s rep for comment.
West and Kardashian share four children: daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 7, and sons Saint, 9, and Psalm, 5.
The exes split after six years together in 2021 following West’s public struggles with his bipolar disorder. They finalised their divorce in 2022 and were each awarded joint custody.
In December 2022, West married Bianca Censori, an Australian architect who works at his company, Yeezy. The couple have sparked split rumours amid West’s recent controversial behaviour.
There’s been tension between West and his ex-wife over West featuring their daughter North on a song with Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is in jail on sex trafficking charges.
West posted alleged text messages earlier this month between him and Kardashian, in which she told her ex that she trademarked North’s name in a bid to prevent the song from being released.
North reportedly recorded the vocals during a trip to her father’s studio, per TMZ.
When Kardashian learned of this, she sent a cease and desist order to Ye, according to the outlet. She also allegedly set up an emergency hearing with a mediator and a judge to stop the release of the song. Though Ye did not attend, sources told TMZ that he promised not to put out the track.
West still released the song — and then went on a rant about Kardashian on X (formerly Twitter), accusing the SKIMS founder of controlling their four “black children.”
In addition, Kardashian allegedly abruptly ended North’s recent visit with West after learning Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, would be there. The Tate siblings are facing charges including rape and human trafficking.
According to a recent TMZ report, Kardashian is contemplating asking a judge to strip West of having joint legal custody of their kids.
But the outlet also noted that West reportedly “rarely sees his kids” and Kardashian wants their children “to have a relationship with their dad.”
