Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson have broken their silence over reports they have ended their relationship.

On Friday, it was reported by Mail Online that the Coldplay frontman, 47, and the actress, 34, ended their engagement after seven years together.

The outlet claimed that the couple “have now accepted the relationship is over — and it’s best to move on.”

However, the reports have turned out to be entirely false.

A rep for the Madame Web actress tells PEOPLE that she and the Coldplay frontman have not gone their separate ways.

“They are happily together,” insisted a rep for both stars.

The insider added that the couple were also together in Helsinki two weeks ago and added that Johnson recently helped to make a music video for Coldplay.

The claims emerged after the Fifty Shades of Grey failed to be spotted with Martin during the European leg of his band’s world tour.

However, despite not attending the stadium tour, she was seen watching the group during their Glastonbury set in June.

Shortly after attending, a source told PEOPLE that the pair were in a “good place”.

“They’ve had ups and downs, but now they’re definitely back on,” the insider said, referencing their brief split in 2019 and adding that the duo is “going strong.”

The singer began dating Johnson in 2017 following his divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he shares daughter Apple, 20, and son Moses, 18.

While the fiercely private couple have always kept their romance private, Johnson made a rare comment about her partner while addressing her depression in November 2023. At the time, she credited him with “pulling [her] out of” a low moment.

Paltrow has also given Johnson her public stamp of approval, telling Harper’s Bazaar in 2020, “I love her.”

“I can see how it would seem weird because it’s sort of unconventional. But I think, in this case, just having passed through it iteratively, I just adore her,” added the Oscar winner, 51.
