ROLLING Stones star Mick Jagger has welcomed another baby at the age of 73.
The star’s publicist has confirmed he became a dad again, after it was revealed he was expecting with ballerina Melanie Hamrick, 29.
A statement has now confirmed Hamrick and Sir Mick are “both delighted” at the birth.
It added: “Mick was at the hospital for the arrival, reports The Sun .
“Mother and baby are doing well and we request that the media respect their privacy at this time.”
The musician already has seven children with previous partners.
He welcomed his eldest Karis, 45, with actor Marsha Hunt, before welcoming a daughter with first wife Bianca Jagger, Jade.
Meanwhile he has Lizzy, Georgia, James and Gabriel with second wife Jerry Hall.
The Sun exclusively revealed Mick’s baby news in July, and the couple were “surprised and happy” at the time.
The source added: “This is great news. It will be Mick’s eighth child and nothing fazes him. He’s been incredibly supportive.
“She’s very bright, intelligent, sparky and has her own ideas about how she wants to lead her life. She knows what a great relationship Mick has with all of his children and can’t wait for him to be a dad again.
“They are taking the news in their stride.”
Mick and Melanie have been in a relationship since 2014 and have seen each other regularly over the past two years.
She was a guest in Rio de Janeiro and Mexico in February and March on the Latin American leg of the Stones’ recent tour that ended with their historic concert in Cuba.
The source said: “They’ve seen each other a lot, they like each other a lot but they still want independent lives.”
It comes less than two months after Mick’s bandmate Ronnie Wood, 68, welcomed twins.
