Geri Horner gives birth to a little boy on the same day as Baby Spice’s birthday

FORMER Spice Girl Geri Horner has announced the arrival of her baby who now shares a birthday with one of her ex-band mates.

GERI Horner has become a new mum after giving birth to a baby boy.

The Sun reports the Spice Girl’s adorable new arrival came on the same day as her former bandmate Emma Bunton, ironically nicknamed Baby Spice, celebrated her birthday.

Horner announced her big news on Twitter and wrote: “Christian and I are delighted to announce our baby boy was born this morning weighing 7 lbs 8oz.”

The baby’s name is Montague George Hector Horner.

She followed up her post with a little baby Emoji and a thumbs-up sign.

The little lad, who has not yet been given a name, is Horner’s first child with her husband and will now be a sibling to her daughter Bluebell Madonna, 10.

Horner’s loyal fans — many of whom are from her pop heyday — were quick to offer their congratulations under her happy Tweet.

One wrote: “@GeriHalliwell oh my goodness congratulations! born on the same day as @EmmaBunton it really is your very own #BabySpice Hope you are well x”

Another super excited Spice Girls fan added: “OMG congratulations to you both!!” while one wrote: “Congratulations to you both. Wonderful news, Geri Xx”

A fan littered their post with happy Emojis as they uploaded the message: “Same day as @EmmaBunton! So awesome! Congratulations & happy b-day!”

Meanwhile another gushed: “Congratulations to you, Christian, and Bluebell on baby boy Horner joining your family … welcome to the world, little one!”

Another threw a name suggestion into the ring and quipped: “Call him Mi Chico Latino,” after one of Horner’s solo tracks.

Just seven hours earlier, amid the joy of her pregnancy, Horner remembered to post a congratulatory message to Bunton.

She uploaded a throwback snap from their Say You’ll Be There video showing the pair having a cuddle and wrote: “Happy birthday @EmmaBunton!!” followed by a party popper and love heart icon.

Radio presenter Bunton responded with delight at Horner’s announcement and posted: “Amazing news, so happy!”
