Ellen Pompeo baby: Grey’s Anatomy star has girl via surrogate

ELLEN Pompeo has announced the birth of her second daughter via a surrogate.

ELLEN Pompeo and Chris Ivery are now parents to two girls.

The Grey’s Anatomy star, 44, announced the birth of daughter Sienna May Ivery via Twitter on Thursday afternoon. Sienna was born via surrogate.

Pompeo and Ivery’s older daughter, Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery, turned five years old on Sept. 23. The couple, married since 2007, did not use a surrogate for their first child.

The actor recently announced that she might be done acting after Grey’s Anatomy ends.

“I definitely don’t have a strong desire to act after Grey’s; I definitely feel myself transitioning,” she told BuzzFeed.

“I don’t find acting terribly empowering. For the place I am in my life … I don’t necessarily want to work for other people.”

Ellen Pompeo might quit acting after Grey’s Anatomy.
