Caitlyn Jenner admits she’s grown distant from some of her children

CAITLYN Jenner has sat down to discuss her new tell-all book and in the process has revealed she’s ‘grown distant’ from some of her children.

IT HAS been two years since Caitlyn Jenner revealed she was transgender to Diane Sawyer and now, the former Olympian has sat down with the journalist again.

Jenner is also about to release her first memoir The Secrets of My Life in which she gets very candid about her 65 years as Bruce and her two years as Caitlyn.

The reality star spills on everything from her sex life with ex-wife Kris Jenner to the time she was furious with Ellen DeGeneres.

And, just like her new memoir, Jenner didn’t hold back in her 20/20 interview with Sawyer — specifically when it came to her relationship with her children, including her stepchildren Kim, Kourtney, Rob and Khloe Kardashian.

“Some [of my children] I have remained very close to,” she said.

“A couple of them … I’m a little more distant. I have to admit, I’ll sit here and wonder, ‘Is it because of my transitioning? Or is it because their life is so busy that they don’t call, like, all the time?’

“Nobody calls that much,” she continued.

“I mostly reach out to them. Obviously, the Jenner side calls more, but they all have their own lives.”

Jenner speculates their distance might’ve started from her Vanity Fair cover in June, 2015 which she used to publicly end her life as Bruce Jenner.

“I know my kids, they thought, ‘You know what, it’s a little too much,’” she told Sawyer.

“But, from my standpoint, I had suffered for 65 years. To have a beautiful shot of my authentic self was important and the shock value.”

“I wanted to end the old Bruce, my old life, and that picture did it,” Jenner adds.

The 67-year-old also spoke about her apparent strained relationship with her ex Kris.

“Do I talk to … Kris all the time? No,” Caitlyn revealed.

“She’s kind of moved on. I have certainly moved on, but we’re fine with each other.”

Despite Caitlyn saying the former couple are “fine”, her claims are a stark contrast to a teaser clip released yesterday for the next episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians where the reality mum lets rip about claims Jenner made in the much-hyped memoir.

“I read it and basically the only nice thing she had to say was that I was great socially at a party one time,” Kris tells Kim and Khloe in the clip.

“None of it makes sense. Everything she says is all made up. Why does everything have to be that Kris is such a bitch and an a**hole?”

She continues: “I’ve done nothing but open up my home and my heart to a person who doesn’t give a sh*t. So, I’m done. I’ve never been so angry and disappointed in somebody in my whole life.”

Caitlyn Jenner has said she wasn't "entirely comfortable" having sex with Kris Jenner.
