Britney Spears has allegedly been banned from the Four Seasons in Los Angeles after guests complained about her “bizarre behaviour” and stripping off by the pool.
Three sources exclusively confirmed to The U.S. Sun that staff at the Westlake Village resort have been driven crazy by the pop star’s antics for the past year.
Spears was a longtime guest at the five-star family-friendly hotel, which is just minutes from her $21 million mansion in Thousand Oaks.
The 42-year-old star previously shared photographs of herself naked on Instagram while covering her breasts as she relaxed in a hotel suite during one stay.
Spears even spent her wedding night at the Four Seasons with her best friend and manager Cade Hudson, rather than with her then-husband Sam Asghari, a source previously told The U.S. Sun.
Insiders said she is a big fan of booking into the spa and beauty retreat, as the hotel has a huge indoor pool, massage, and treatments available for guests.
But it appears the Toxic singer is currently not welcome on the premises after leaving staff no choice but to temporarily ban her.
“Britney has been going to the Four Seasons in Westlake Village for years, but she’s been causing a headache for staff recently,” one insider told the website.
“In the past year, she’s been banned from the hotel, unbanned, and is now banned again.
“Some guests have complained about her going topless by the pool and making them feel uncomfortable, and her behaviour is often bizarre and annoying.
“Staff have talked about it throughout the whole hotel and it’s really unfortunate, but she’s not allowed on there at the moment, certainly not the spa.”
The source added, “Britney might be an A-list celebrity but she can’t run around doing whatever she wants at the Four Seasons.
“It sees a lot of high profile guests and rich guests checking in who spend thousands there, whether it be for a business trip or leisure and they don’t want to be made to feel awkward.”
The U.S. Sun sent multiple requests for comment to Spears’ reps and the Four Seasons in Westlake Village.
Spears’ rep eventually claimed the story was “not true,” but the Four Seasons has remained radio silent.
Rooms at the hotel range from around $760 to more than $1500 for some luxury suites per night.
An online bio on its website describes how it is located at “the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains between Malibu’s sunny beaches and Santa Barbara’s famous vines.”
The hotel’s “relaxed yet refined California hotel offers a family-friendly atmosphere and is home to the centre for health and wellbeing, a luxury destination for wellness.”
It seems to be a case of history repeating itself for Spears, who had issues staying at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills in the past.
In March 2008, she was reportedly stopped from visiting the hotel after complaints from high-paying guests and staff.
A legal “notice of trespass” was even drawn up to enlist police assistance to try and keep her away from the hotel, according to reports at the time.
She allegedly went to great lengths to regain access, at one point refusing to move her car from the hotel’s drive-in lane unless she was granted access to the hotel.
Reports also claimed she ranted, “Do you know who I am? I f**king built this place. I’ve spent so much money here I could have bought the goddamn hotel.”
Since Spears was freed from her conservatorship in 2021, she’s still had to face struggles in her personal life.
She has had long-running feuds with family members including her father Jamie and sister Jamie Lynn, and told of her ups and downs in her memoir, The Woman in Me.
Her third husband, Sam Ashgari, filed for divorce in August last year after just 14 months of marriage.
