BLAC Chyna wasn’t expecting the Kardashians to fight her wishes to trademark the name Angela Renee Kardashian.

Kim, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian‘s companies have reportedly opposed Chyna’s recent trademark filing by saying their family’s brand will “suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill.”

The Kardashians don’t want Blac Chyna to capitalise on their fame.

They also accused Chyna — who is engaged to their brother Rob Kardashian and recently gave birth to their daughter — of “deliberately seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity.”

“Everything has been fantastic between her and the family to the best of my knowledge, so this is a shock,” Chyna’s lawyer Walter Mosley told People. “Thus, I’m under the belief that it’s a misunderstanding … Angela, Rob and Dream are doing amazing, wonderful and things couldn’t be better.”

Some past Chyna-Kardashian drama has played out on TV, including the fact that her ex and baby daddy Tyga is now dating Kylie Jenner, the youngest of the family’s siblings.

Though Blac Chyna hasn’t yet legally changed her name, Mosley is confident the former stripper has a “clear case win, because it’s actually her name, it’s not a poaching.”

Mosley said Chyna needs to have a conversation with the family, and that, until he hears otherwise, “I’m just going to proceed as I normally would with a lawsuit. I have 40 days to respond.”
