Pamela Bach, who was married to David Hasselhoff, has died at age 62.
The cause of death was reportedly suicide, TMZ reports.
Bach, also known as Pamela Bach Hasselhoff, was an actress who appeared on “The Young and the Restless,” “Knight Rider” and “Baywatch.”
Bach played cafe owner Kaye Morgan for a decade on Hasselhoff’s famous lifeguard series.
Pamela was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene of her $US2 million ($A3.1m) Hollywood Hills home, Page Six reports.
Authorities did not find a suicide note, per the report.
“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff,” Hasselhoff told TMZ.
“We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
Born in Oklahoma, Bach was married to Hasselhoff from 1989 until they divorced in 2006.
They reportedly met on the set of “Knight Rider” and shared two daughters: Taylor, 34, and Hayley, 32.
“I’ve always loved him and always will, and have love and compassion for him,” Bach told the Associated Press at the time of their contentious divorce.
They reportedly had battles over spousal support continuing through 2017.
“It’s a very, very sad day, but a day to move on.”
Pamela’s family members got worried after they didn’t hear from her for a long time, law enforcement sources told TMZ.
First responders were reportedly called to Pamela’s house after receiving a report of an unconscious female around 10pm Wednesday.
After Hasselhoff’s infamous 2007 video – showing the actor drunk on the floor – made headlines, Bach appeared on “Larry King Live” that year.
“I think that — I don’t think, I know. It is her cry for help because she sees there’s nothing else going to work,” she said, referring to her daughter Taylor making the video.
“As I have tried, thinking if I just pour out the bottles, if I just be by his side, if I just babysit him, give him more love, do more for him or make him see himself, it will get there. But the disease of alcoholism is cunning. It’s a baffling disease,” she said.
When King asked if it was the reason for the divorce, she replied, “it was.”
