Alec Baldwin has paid tribute to his wife Hilaria for standing with him through all the “ups and downs” as the actor awaits trial for involuntary manslaughter.

The pair posted a series of wedding photos across both their Instagram accounts, as they reflected on their 12 year marriage anniversary.

“Although I fell in love with you the moment I met you, marrying you seemed like a dream,” Alec, 66, captioned the post.

“Good and bad. Ups and downs. 7 kids. (Plus Ireland, Andre and Holland.) Four dogs. Four cats,” he went on, referencing his eldest daughter Ireland, her partner André Allen Anjos and his granddaughter Holland.

“In spite of some tough times for me, I wouldn’t trade any of it. Happy Anniversary. You are my gift.”

Hilaria — who is 26 years Alec’s junior — shared a selfie of the pair alongside a sweet caption.

“Happy 12 years of marriage, Alec…not only have there been joyful ups and sad downs that life inevitably brings, but we have also experienced everything from sideways, zigzags, tremendous love and also things that are so painfully and plainly backwards,” she wrote alongside the Instagram snap.

“We hang on tight…hold on to family and friends to source our comfort and energy. Lean in to gratitude to brighten every day. How lucky am I to have you and our children, Alec.”

JUDGE REJECTS LAST-DITCH EFFORT TO DISMISS ALEC BALDWIN CASE

Baldwin’s involuntary manslaughter case is set to go to trial in July after a judge denied a request to dismiss the case due to questions over key evidence.

Lawyers for the Hollywood star argued the firearm in the shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie Rust was heavily damaged by FBI forensic testing before it could be examined for possible modifications that might exonerate him.

They claimed authorities took what they described as the most critical evidence in the case — the firearm — and destroyed it by striking it with a mallet as part of the FBI analysis.

However, Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer rejected the claim, removing one of the last hurdles before prosecutors can bring the case to trial.

The new court bid came after an earlier hearing in which Judge Marlowe Sommer ruled that convicted armourer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed does not have to testify in the case.

The judge also ruled in the previous hearing against a request by defence attorneys to dismiss the trial because they said Baldwin had no reason to believe the gun could contain live ammunition and wasn’t “subjectively aware” of the risks.

In a sometimes heated virtual hearing on Friday, local time, the judge denied the prosecution’s request to have Gutierrez-Reed be a witness with immunity in the trial, which is scheduled to begin on July 9, Deadline reported.

Baldwin was holding a prop gun on the New Mexico set of the Western movie Rust in 2021 when it discharged, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza. He has always insisted he did not pull the gun’s trigger and that he did not know how the gun came to contain live ammunition.

John Bash, a lawyer for Baldwin, argued at last Friday’s hearing that the star should not have been charged with a crime because he had no reason to believe the gun contained live ammunition.

He said: “If he didn’t know of the substantial risk that it had live ammunition in it, he can’t be guilty.”

Gutierrez-Reed was sentenced to 18 months in a New Mexico state prison last April after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

Prosecutors had requested that Gutierrez-Reed get so-called use immunity, which would prevent them from using anything she says at Baldwin’s trial against her.

According to USA Today, her lawyer said she does not wish to incriminate herself as she appeals her sentence of 18 months.

The rookie armourer was sentenced after a jury found her guilty of criminal negligence for mistakenly loading a live round into the revolver Baldwin was using.

Earlier this month, Baldwin and his wife Hilaria revealed they were are set to star in their own reality TV show about their family.

In an announcement that attracted criticism due to the star's upcoming trial, the couple, who have seven children all under the age of 10, said The Baldwins will air on US cable network TLC in 2025.

The family shared the announcement on Instagram with a teaser video, captioned: “We’ve got an exciting announcement to share!”
