‘Absolute goddess’: Carrie Bickmore wows in black mini dress at ACRAs 2024

The ACRA awards took place overnight in Sydney, and although Carrie Bickmore didn’t walk away with an award, she was a winner in the style stakes.

The ACRAs (Australian Commercial Radio & Audio Awards) took place overnight in Sydney, and although Carrie Bickmore didn’t walk away with an award, she was a winner in the style stakes.

The beloved radio personality, 43, wowed fans in her Effie Kats black fitted mini dress complete with long silk train, snapping a pic of herself in the gorgeous gown in her hotel room prior to the big event held at The Star Sydney.

“A qween on a queen. Radio awards 2024!” she captioned the photo on Instagram, referring to the queen bed she was standing on while eating a lollipop.

The comments from her fans came flooding in, praising the Carrie and Tommy host for her stunning appearance.

“You are divine babe,” one commented on Instagram, while another agreed, “You are banging.”

“Carrie you are an absolute goddess,” another complimented the star, with another saying, “Hooley Dooley girl, looking the goods tonight.”

Bickmore has become a firm favourite on radio along with co-host Tommy Little.

The beloved host attended the event alongside who’s who of Australian radio, walking the red carpet with the likes of her co-host Tommy Little, Nova’s Kate Ritchie, KIIS FM’s Will and Woody, and WSFM’s Amanda Keller and Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones.

Bickmore and Little sadly lost out to the latter for whose Jonesy & Amanda breakfast show who won the big award of the night: Best On Air Team.

They beat out KIIS FM’s Kyle & Jackie O, Gold FM’s Christian O’Connell, Nova’s Jase and Lauren, Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa with Kate Ritchie andof course Carrie and Tommy show on the Hit Network.

“I never in a million years expected to win for the second year in a row,” Keller, 62, told news.com.au after the win – an award which saw the duo win for the fifth time. They previously walked away with the trophy in 2012, 2014, 2019 and 2023.

“At my advanced age, people think, ‘Why are you still working?’ and to be at the peak of our careers at this age, what a gift.

“To still have things to say and to have a relevance and want to do it, I find that extraordinary, and I’m so grateful.”

Kyle Sandilands and Jackie “O” Henderson, who did not attend the ceremony, also lost out to the Jonesy & Amanda show, but they did take home Best Networked Show.
