A former reality TV star who was famously “dumped on a rock in Africa” has revealed she’s now in an “exclusive” relationship with a new man.
During the Adelaide leg of her Trauma Dump Tour, feminist icon Abbie Chatfield told fans she was “trying out” monogamy again, but was confused by some of the terms involved.
“I don’t get monogamous language,” she told the crowd at Thebarton Theatre.
“I didn’t know what exclusive meant.”
The media personality did not reveal the identity of her new partner, telling the audience that her new relationship was still in its very early stages.
“It’s been six days!” she said.
She also addressed the rumours that she’d dated American musician Yung Gravy while he was in the country, after social media content showed the two of them looking very familiar with each other.
Ms Chatfield commented on the speculation at her Adelaide show, including reports that the two had slept together.
“I certainly didn’t spend two nights at his hotel,” she said in a sarcastic tone, leaving the audience to speculate.
“Nothing happened, we just had Maccas.”
The rapper is not the first high-profile man Chatfield has been linked to romantically.
Chatfield broke up with fellow Bachelorette star Konrad Bien-Stephen in August last year, after revealing the duo had explored an open relationship before the split.
She’s been very open about her bisexuality on her podcast, It’s A Lot, but has kept the identity of her new man under wraps.
The podcaster and radio host is touring the country telling tales of some pretty concerning past relationships, which saw the Adelaide audience swing between roaring with laughter and fighting back tears.
She shared adorable photos from when she’d appeared in the local paper as a child, claiming paparazzi had been following her since birth.
“My trauma is your joy,” Chatfield said.
