“We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career.

“We kindly ask that Kim’s husband and close friends are given the time and privacy they need to grieve.

“We will not be releasing any further details.”

Kim went on to star in a number of shows including I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2009 and Celebrity Big Brother in 2017.

She also regularly appeared on ITV’s Loose Women and This Morning.

Tributes have today flooded in for the reality TV star who was a “force of nature”.

Journalist Dan Wootten posted on X: “My gorgeous, hilarious and truly outrageous friend Kim Woodburn has died after a short illness.

“Genuinely THE favourite guest on every show I have ever been a part of.

“No one burst the bubble of prissy celebrities in such glorious fashion. Forever the queen of clean!”

One devastated fan called her an “absolute icon of reality TV”.

“I actually can’t believe she’s died,” another said on X, while one posted: “RIP diva.”

A third posted: “I am genuinely upset to hear that Kim Woodburn has passed. What an icon who reached her prime later in life. Rest In Peace.”

Her death comes weeks after cancelling work commitments due to health concerns.

Kim had been offering personal video greetings to her loyal followers after also selling clips on the Cameo platform.

But earlier this month she told her social media followers: “No more videos for now, my loves, I need to get better!”

A post on her Instagram account also read: “We regret to tell you that Kim is unable to record any further videos for the foreseeable future, due to a health problem. Kim sends her love to you all.”

Her last video was posted on Valentine’s Day.

She said cheerfully: “Hello my loves! I hope you are all okay and keeping well.”
