JUST when you thought the St Kilda schoolgirl saga was over, brace yourself for the next instalment.
The story has resurfaced four years since it began, with Kim Duthie winning an injunction, banning disgraced former AFL player manager Ricky Nixon from releasing his autobiography.
His tell-all tale, My Side, is not to be published or released until next Tuesday when the case will be further argued in court.
The autobiography touches on the 2011 scandal, when Duthie released naked photos of St Kilda footballers and divulged a relationship with Nixon.
After stating the pair had sex and took drugs, she appeared on The Project in June 2011 and refuted her former claims, saying she lied.
But after the interview when she believed she was off-air she admitted she lied about lying.
Duthie appeared in the Supreme Court of Victoria regarding the injunction on Tuesday, unbeknown to Nixon.
It is believed the now 22-year-old wanted to suspend the release of the book because it told lies that would defame her.
Nixon was planning to launch his autobiography today and said he still plans to do so next week.
“Nothing changes from my point of view,” he told news.com.au.
“If I’m directed legally to make changes in my book I will but I won’t be making any changes to the messages in my book whatsoever.”
Mr Nixon said those messages were the “truth”.
“It’s the truth about what happened and the truth about the roles of some of the people in the headlines who ruined my business, my life and my family,” he said.
Nixon would not comment on how he felt about the court action as he had not received any orders.
It is believed he is also refusing to comment on Duthie for legal reasons.

“The book is a lot about what my ex-wife did for me to get me from the brink of death twice and back to a healthy state and healthy mind and the enormous behind-the-scenes stuff she has done without the fanfare,” he said.
“She hasn’t spoken to media in 20 years and has been offered hundreds and thousands of dollars but she doesn’t speak unlike some other females.”
Celebrity talent agent Max Markson said Nixon’s book contained only one chapter about the Duthie scandal and it had been kept anonymous.
Nixon said the book also gave people insights into AFL player management as well as the experiences he went through to get back on track.
