Celebrities flocked to the red carpet for the Billboard Music Awards, where singer Doja Cat stole the spotlight in a very sheer gown.

Grammys red carpet 2020: The best, the worst, the weird and the wonderful

Some of music’s biggest stars have descended on the red carpet at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, where sparkles were the trend of choice.

Held at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre after it was delayed in April due to the coronavirus pandemic, Post Malone took home a whopping nine awards – including Top Artist – at the awards show yesterday, while other winners included Billie Eilish, who won Best Album and Top Female Artist, and Khalid, who took out Top R&B Artist and Top R&B Male Artist.

But before the ceremony it was all about the fashion, and singer Doja Cat was one of the highlights in a daring sheer gown.

Cher ditched her trademark camp wardrobe and whipped out the stockings and sandals. I hate to say it, but we expected more from the woman dubbed a red carpet icon.

After Billie Eilish hit back at haters this week for body shaming her in a paparazzi photo, the singer opted for her signature designer baggy clothing and a face mask.

Nicole Richie as always was effortlessly classic, but someone probably should have told her the background would also be black.

And here is a very pink Sia. Or at least we think it is.

Lizzo made a subtle political statement.
