MIX 104.9 breakfast host Ali Burton says her breakfast radio show — still promoted as the Greg & Ali show on the station’s website — will continue “for the community” as it hunts for a new co-host after Greg Vincent’s sudden departure.

Her breakfast show co-host quit over a week ago, with Burton now hosting the morning time slot on her own for the foreseeable future.

Burton said she could not comment specifically on Vincent’s departure, or anyone else she worked with, as it was against company policy.

She said she was excited for 2021, but could not say exactly when she would get a new co-host, except it would be early in the new year.

“Who knows what the future will hold,” she said.

“We will be there for the Top End community.”

Vincent left the station after almost eight years.
