HOLD on tight — our 120 Most Powerful Territorians list is back. And this year, it’s got more attitude than ever.
And you’ll only find it exclusively right here on ntnews.com.au, counting down from numbers 120-101 today (below) in our first instalment.
Click on each picture in our interactive graphic to find out a bit more about our list makers and why we’ve placed them where we have.
The countdown will run for 10 days ending on Friday, December 21.
Today we start with numbers 101-120 and even some of these lower on The List will get a few tongues wagging.
Under siege Tourism Minister Lauren Moss — who was recently criticised for missing the Brolga Awards for a friend’s weddding — was No.120 last year.
Where will she be on The List this year ... or will she even make it all?
The coveted No. 1 position was last year taken by Chief Minister Michael Gunner’s chief of staff, Alf Leonardi. But will he drop down The List this year — and, if so, how far?
Mr Gunner was No. 3 last year but his government has been copping it left, right and centre over the past 12 months on a range of issues — none more so than the state of the economy.
There are some big names who will make The List for the first time but there will be some big shocks as plenty of names on last year’s list don’t make the cut this time around.
NT News editor Matt Williams said The List was a great talking point.
“Our most powerful list is a great guide for people to know who the real movers and shakers are in the Territory,” he said.
