QANTAS will be operating its flagship Sydney to London service via Darwin from today.

It is the first ever non-stop commercial flight from Darwin to London and will be operated by the Airbus A380.
The aircraft will stop in Darwin to refuel, which is also known as a gas and go.
It will take 16 hours and 45 minutes to fly to London from Darwin and 16 hours and 20 minutes on the return from London.

The aircraft will depart Sydney at 6pm, arrive in Darwin at 9.15pm and depart again at 11pm before arriving in London the following day at 6.15am.
On the return, it will depart London at 10:05am, arrive in Darwin at 11:55pm and depart again at 1:15am before landing in Sydney at 7am.
Passengers stay onboard, which is the usual process, for the gas and go.
